The Torah states in Numbers 15:38: "Speak to the Children of Israel, and say to them, that they shall make themselves tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and they shall put on the corner tassel a blue-violet (Tekhelet) thread." Wearing the Tzitzit is also commanded in Deuteronomy 22:12: "You shall make yourself twisted cords, on the four corners of your garment with which you cover yourself."

Upon receiving your Tzit Tzits they will have creases from shipping, in order to straighten out this "problem" all you have to do is dampen the tassels and they should go back to a normal hang!

HAND WASH ONLY!

If you do happen to wash them by accident, it is ok. All you need to do is dampen or soak them and let them hang dry and they should be back to normal. (I have tested this method myself as I purposely washed them to see what would happen and how to fix them if damage occurred.) Please remove them from your garments before washing!
